Audio Visual Ministry

Audio Visual runs the powerpoint presentations that display the songs at Mass. This ministry also looks after the sound levels on the microphones so that everyone may hear, see and participate in the Liturgy. This ministry is an important and integral part of the celebration of Mass in the Serra Center. Ministers are asked to serve at a Mass at least once a month and on special occasions such as holy days. Ninety-five percent of all audio/visual work is performed in the Serra Center.

Any Skills Needed?

Ministers should be able to operate a computer and follow the Mass, anticipating what happens next in the Liturgy. The Audio Visual Ministry offers one on one training during Mass in the Serra Center.

Time Commitment

Audio Visual Ministers are scheduled to serve at specific masses on Saturdays, Sundays and holy days of obligation. The time commitment is determined by each individual minister both in scheduling and preparation.
