What Are Newspages/Blogs?

A blog (a contraction of the term weblog) is a type of webpage, with regular entries of descriptions of events, useful information, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. Taken from "wikipedia.org".

Blogs are easy to update and maintain, requiring no technical skill or coding as webpages do. The Pope has his own blog on You Tube, using the same software provider, Google, as our parish, blogspot.com.

Blogs are updated as often as heads of ministry have news or information to update. They provide a "window" into a group's activities and mission for those looking to join a new ministry or discovering more about our parish, and serve as a single source of information for members of a particular group.
