McKeon Center RentalsWelcome to All Who Come

As Good Stewards of our resources, the Parish makes space available in the McKeon Center for large wedding receptions, anniversary parties and non-profit events. We do not rent the hall for quincineras or Sweet 15 or 16 birthday parties.

Facility Description

The McKeon Center is available for rental year-round (with the exception of December and Easter Month) on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5pm to 10pm with an hour of setup and cleanup. There is wheelchair access and handicapped parking available.

The hall has an adjoining plating and warm up kitchen for catering, separate men’s and women's bathrooms and a bathroom attendant who will work to keep the restrooms beautiful during your reception.

There is a stage for a band or DJ and the hall is air conditioned.

Parking

Parking is available using Via Maria directly next to the hall in a gravel lot. Handicapped parking is on hardtop next to the hall.

Hall Capacity
With a dance floor: 280 guests seated at round tables for 8, with an area reserved in front of the stage for a dance floor, cake table, gifts table, drink bar and head tables.

Without a dance floor: 320 guests seated at round tables for 8, with a cake table, gifts table, drink bar and head tables.

All rentals include:

Early entry at 2pm into Rm #13 for decorations and event storage
One hour of hall setup (4pm - 5pm) to your floorplan
Chairs, round tables, trash cans
Tables and chairs torn down after your event
Use of plating kitchen
Bathroom attendant
Insurance
One hour of tear down (10pm to 11pm)

Linens may be rented from us if you wish, but are a separate fee.

We Do Not Provide
Chair covers, DJ's, cleaning service, trash service, additional time before or after 4pm to 11pm, or babysitting. With the exception of service animals, companion animals are not permitted.

MSLRP does not provide catering services. Our kitchen is a warmup kitchen only with sink, countertop, microwaves, a stovetop and an oven. Any cooking on site including reserving a location for BBQing must be preapproved by our Event Coordinator in writing in advance of your event. Refrigeration: with prior notice, the walkin fridge in the Parish Center may be reserved for perishables.

No smoking
is allowed inside the McKeon Center. There are designated smoking areas outside with cans provided for cigarette butts.

Alcohol:
Experienced bar tenders are at your service through our Knights of Columbus. The Knights have the necessary licenses and training to serve liquor, beer, and wine to the public.

Linens may be rented from us if you wish.

Security Guards
must be hired separately through Nanpor Security (760-439-6400) for all events involving alcohol a minimum of 60 days before your event. Plan for one security guard at 40.00/hr for every 75 guests.

For dry parties —no alcohol served—plan on hiring one guard, 40.00 X 5 hours, to cover your event.

The renter must be the principal user of the McKeon Center Hall and be present as the official host for the entire event.

**A registered parishioner is defined as an active Catholic, who is officially registered and has resided in the parish for at least one year prior to his/her first phone call to our office.

To be considered for parishioner rates, renting parishioner must be registered, participating and
contributing to MSLRP with a history of contributing at least $250.00 one year prior to the first phone call to our office.

 


Cleaning & Damage Deposit

$800 The Cleaning & Damage Deposit amount to be refunded is based on
the condition of the hall after rental use. Deposits minus fees for damages to the hall or parish property are mailed 14 days after an event has ended.

We do not rent the Hall in December or the month of Easter.

To Reserve the Hall, an $800 Check Deposit will be required.
