Music Ministry

If you have the gift of music, there are a number of opportunities to share your gift with the community.

The Shepherd’s Choir sings for the Sunday 10:00 a.m. Mass. This group sings both traditional and contemporary music and rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7p.m.in the Serra Ctr.

The Filipino Choir, (also called the Trinity Choir), sings every other Sunday at the 8:00 a.m. Mass. They sing in both English and Tagalog. Rehearsals are every-other Thursday, at 7:00 p.m. in the Serra Center. Click here for the Filipino Choir Calendar, 2008.

The Sunday Night Contemporary Ensemble rehearses at 3:15 p.m on Sunday afternoons in the Serra Center. This group is looking for singers and experienced instrumentalists (Guitar, bass, etc.).

We are also looking for cantors to lead the community in sung prayer on Sundays.

Time Commitment

Music Ministers sing weekly at Mass. At special times of the year, such as Holy Days, Christmas and Easter, music ministers give their time to these liturgies as well.
