About Us: 

Mission San Luis Rey Parish is located directly next to the Old Historic Mission San Luis Rey. A center for Catholic Liturgy, Sacraments, Education for children and adults, our parish is staffed by the Franciscan Friars of the Province of Saint Barbara and serves parishioners under the auspices of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego.

Daily Mass (M-F) is in the parish chapel at 7:30 a.m. and in the Historic Church at 12noon. Weekend Masses are in the Serra Center: Saturday 5 p.m. (English) and 7 p.m. (Spanish). Sundays: at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. (English); 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. (Spanish). Sunday Mass is also celebrated in the Old Mission Church 7 a.m. (English) and 7 p.m. (Spanish).

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Reconciliation is on Saturday at 9 a.m in the Serra Center except for holiday weekends or during Lent and Advent.  Consultation with a priest is available by appointment.  Please call the parish office at 760-757-3250.

For Baptisms, Anointing of the Sick, Weddings or Funerals, please call the parish office at 760-757-3250.

How to Get Here:
Take Interstate 5 north to Route 76 (not 78) east. Go 4 miles and make a left on Ranch Del Oro. You'll come to the historic mission's front door.  The Parish is directly on your right-hand side.
