	Ushers The Ushers at San Luis Rey Parish help greet and seat worshippers at Mass, direct the lost and assist with the offerings and collection. The Usher Ministry at San Luis Rey Parish seeks individuals who feel a love for God and their fellow worshipers in wanting to help the people get the most out of each Mass. What About Training? No one is asked to do anything they are not prepared to accomplish. Training is minimal. One must be prepared for the unexpected and be flexible and patient with others. Time Commitment Ushers are scheduled to serve at specific masses on Saturdays, Sundays and holy days of obligation. The time commitment is determined by each individual usher both in scheduling and preparation.
