The word "Ministry" comes from a Latin word meaning service. In John’s Gospel after Jesus had washed the disciples’ feet He said, “So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet” (Jn. 13:14).
All Christians should take this injunction by Jesus seriously. One important method of serving others is to participate in your parish. There are many ministries within our parish family. You are invited to prayerfully consider trying out an opportunity to serve.
