On Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11:30 to 2:30 the McKeon Center is filled with a friendly group of folks that gather together to play bingo, have fun and raise money for the parish.
Right alongside these players, you'll also find a wonderful group of volunteers: bingo cashiers, verifiers and callers. Volunteers staff the kitchen for bingo players and ensure there is plenty of free coffee and popcorn. The lunches for players are hearty and made and served with love by the chefs at the Old Mission Kitchen. There are also snacks available to purchase. Special parties at Christmas, Valentines Day and other special times of year make bingo a whole lot of fun to attend.
Bingo players enjoy traditional paper cards or electronic machines, and the pull tab games. Players and helpers are always welcome. The games start around 11:30 and end around 2:30 to 3pm, but some players arrive about 9am to get their favorite spots, have a cup of coffee and socialize. The McKeon Center is heated and air conditioned and the chairs have padding.
